At Natori... Enter the Dragon
Designer James Reyes in suit with an interesting vintage oriental slim tie. I sooo love how royal blue necktie stood out in his black suit. The gold chain with cross charms made it look more moden.
Fashion is the only cultural activity where all the members of our society participate in. Not all jeepney barkers and kolehiyalas can write a poem. Not all parloristas and sosyals can make music. Not all fishball vendors and CEOs can dance. But everyone of us wake up in the morning thinking of what to wear and putting something on altogether.
Our geographical location, 400-year-old history, tropical climate, political condition and commerce plus our own personal uniqueness, creates a different wind which molds us to how we identify ourselves among us and around the world.
Whether we like or not, we are all contributors to the evolution of a culture and that’s an art worthy of preservation.
